PHOENIX, Ariz. (KVOA) - The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona has announced immigration-related criminal charges against 173 individuals during enforcement operations from December 6 to December 12.

The cases include 93 charges for illegal re-entry and 73 charges for illegal entry into the United States. Additionally, seven individuals face charges for smuggling illegal aliens into and within Arizona.

These actions are part of ongoing efforts to deter unlawful immigration and were supported by federal law enforcement partners, such as ICE ERO, ICE HSI, U.S. Border Patrol, DEA, FBI, USMS, and ATF.
