Thiruvananthapuram: The resounding victory of the United Democratic Front (UDF) in Kerala’s local self-government elections has triggered a fierce political offensive against the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF), with Leader of the Opposition V.D. Satheesan accusing the CPI(M) of sliding from minority appeasement before parliamentary polls to majority communalism thereafter.
