We haven’t seen measurable snow in Boston in months! But this weekend, the city could see its first taste of snow for the season.

Expect a cold day Saturday with high temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. We’ll see a lot of clouds in the Greater Boston area, but much of the day will be dry. Later tonight, though, with temperatures below freezing, snow will start moving in courtesy of an area of low pressure offshore.
The track of this low will determine how far north we’ll see snow here in the Commonwealth. If low pressure takes a more northern track toward southern New England, then Boston will have a higher chance of seeing accumulating snow tonight into Sunday.
