0Cops investigate fatal shooting of woman inside her home

Temple Hills, MD – A woman was found dead inside her Temple Hills home Thursday morning after a shooting that police do not believe was random, prompting a homicide investigation into what appears to be a targeted killing.

At around 8:50 a.m., officers were called to the 6900 block of Westchester Court for reports of a shooting. Inside the residence, they discovered 45-year-old Adia Lipscomb Mingo suffering from trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit detectives are now working to identify a suspect and establish a motive. Preliminary findings suggest the incident was not a random act, but no additional details about possible persons of interest have been released.
