Bowl season is here, and fans have not had to wait long at all. The first of the myriad of bowl games gets underway this Saturday night and gives fans two teams from out West with loads of talent.

The Boise State Broncos (9-4), the champions of the Mountain West, will meet up with the Washington Huskies (9-4) of the Big Ten in the LA Bowl from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

Boise State is a machine that keeps on churning out winning year after winning year. The Broncos have become a staple for success and have an opportunity to get to double-digit wins on the season. Washingont went about its business in the Big Ten, but remained a tier behind the top dogs in the conference.

The Bronocs want to turn the ball. They go for 188 yards per game and 4.6 yards per carry. That could be tough sledding against Washington's run defense, which has held teams to 3.4 yards per carry and just over 100 yards on the ground per game. Boise State QB Maddux Madsen is going to have to make some throws to win this game.

The problem Boise State may have is slowing down Washington's run game. The Broncos give up almost five yards per carry on the ground and will get a three-headed monster of RB Jonah Cokeman (673 yards, 14 TD), RB Adam Mohammed (517 yards, 5 TD), and QB Demond Williams Jr. (595 yards, 6 TD) on the ground.

Boise State played last week in the Mountain West Conference Championship game and has a rapid turnaround to prepare for a bowl game against a well-rested Washington Huskies squad. The Huskies churn on the ground and pick up the Big Ten's first bowl win of the season.
