Debbie Wileman found out she could sing like Judy Garland when she was just 11 years old.

“It’s sort of been a happy accident to be honest,” the London-based artist, now age 41 said. “I’ve always been a huge fan of Judy Garland, from when I was a little kid.”

Wileman is showing off her skills here in Toledo with her show Judy Garland: We Need a Little Christmas at the Valentine Theatre on Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. Ticket prices range between $58 and $88, and can be purchased at valentinetheatre.com.

Garland, the American actress and singer, was known for her beloved role as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, her enchanting performance in the musical A Star Is Born, and her live concerts with her strong voice. She passed away in 1969.
