Star footballer Lionel Messi is in India as a part of his GOAT India Tour. The Argentinian footballer received a huge welcome from thousands of fans as he arrived at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium) in Kolkata on Saturday. Messi was honoured with an exhibition match between Diamond Harbour and Mohun Bagan, after which he interacted with players, signing jerseys and taking selfies. Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan also met Messi, with his youngest son Abram taking a photo with the football legend. This marks Messi’s first visit to India since 2011.
