The driver accused of crashing into a school bus carrying a Mesa County wrestling team , sending 16 people to the hospital, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of vehicular assault and other charges, according to Lakewood police.
Andrew Logan Miller, 22, of Denver, faces charges including seven counts of vehicular assault, two counts of child abuse, reckless endangerment, reckless driving and speeding 40 mph or more over the limit, Lakewood police said in a news release.
The crash happened at 7:33 p.m. Dec. 6 when a small school bus carrying Central High School’s wrestling team was turning left onto West Sixth Avenue from Kipling Street and the bus was hit by an SUV speeding southbound on Kipling.
