THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: UDF workers across Kerala are celebrating a sweeping victory in the local body elections. Traditionally, local elections in the state have seen a strong Left dominance. The 2010 verdict was the only earlier occasion when the Congress had received such widespread support in Kerala. While Congress leaders say the 2025 election victory has gone beyond their expectations, Opposition Leader VD Satheesan’s election management deserves much of the credit.
