Mangaluru, Dec 13: The two-day 'Souharda Christmas Utsav', jointly organised by the St Mother Teresa Vedike and the Catholic Sabha Mangaluru Pradesh (Regd), was inaugurated at Kadri Park in the city on Saturday December 13 evening. National-level youth sportsperson and student Yuvaraj Kundar inaugurated the event by cutting a cake.
Director of Sandesha Foundation Fr Sudeep delivered the Christmas message. The chief guest, St Aloysius College professor Dr Charles Furtado, addressed the gathering with his felicitations. Social activist Muneer Katipalla highlighted the need for communal harmony in society and called upon people to follow the ideals of Jesus Christ to ensure peace in the state.
