SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Even with the recent cool temps, December averages are warm so far. Temperatures have been 3° to 4° above average. That average could climb with our weekend warmup, and the next warmup in the week before Christmas. December is above average in rain for now, all due to the big storms (1.69” of rain at SRQ) last Sunday night.
We’re tracking another cold front coming to the Suncoast late Sunday. This front is very dry, so rain will be minimal for the Suncoast. Winds pick up out of the north late Sunday and Monday, bringing in cooler air and lower humidity to start the work week.
