LOS ANGELES -- Director James Cameron is turning up the heat for the third installment of his blockbuster "Avatar" film franchise.

"Avatar: Fire and Ash" opens in theaters Dec. 19, and On The Red Carpet is taking you inside the making of the film with Cameron and the film's all-star cast.

The new movie picks up right after "Avatar: The Way of Water," with the Sully family grieving the loss of their eldest son, when a new enemy emerges: the Ash People.
