Members of the RNC Association are holding two food drives this weekend in support of Bridges to Hope.
The association has already made a $1,000 donation to the organization, and this weekend they are hosting a Cram the Cruiser food drive as well.
Association vice president Michael Hunt says officers see a great need in the community and they see it every day in their line of work. He says Bridges to Hope serve 1,500 people per month, with 30 per cent of those being children.
Members will be at the Mount Pearl Dominion from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, and the Kelsey Drive Sobeys from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
