San Jose State wide receiver Danny Scudero, who led the nation ‍in receiving yards this season, will enter the NCAA transfer portal, he confirmed.

The transfer portal opens Jan. ‌2, and Scudero should ‌have plenty of suitors.

On the season, he caught 88 passes for 1,291 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was a semifinalist for the ‍Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation’s top receiver.

Scudero, who is 5-foot-9 ‍and 174 pounds, began his career at Sacramento State and took a redshirt season as a ‍freshman, made 53 receptions for 667 yards and five touchdowns in ‍2024 ‍and transferred to San Jose State in ⁠2025.

He has two seasons ‌of eligibility remaining.

His 88 receptions ranked No. 4 in FBS.

The Spartans finished the season with a 3-9 record.
