TRINITY, Texas (KTRE) - The missing East Texas mother and child who were last seen on Thanksgiving Day were found safe, the Trinity Police Said.

According to the Trinity Police Department, Meagan Goodwin and her child, were last seen in Trinity on Nov. 27 and were believed to be traveling with Michael Dewayne Wise Jr.

The police department said Wise is still at large and is wanted in connection with a felony assault investigation and a parole violation in Dallas County.
