Browns cut ties with 2024 draft pick before week 15 vs. Bears

The Cleveland Browns have altered their WR depth chart heading into Week 15's clash with the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

The news came Saturday : The Browns have waived wide receiver Jamari Thrash.

Thrash was a fifth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Louisville (after beginning his college career at Georgia State).

The 6-foot wideout was given occasional chances but never major ones.

As a rookie, Thrash got into nine games. He caught 3-of-7 targets for 22 yards.

This season, Thrash had gotten into another nine games. He had 10 catches (15 targets) for 107 yards.
