TRAVERSE CITY: Commissioners could OK manager contract Monday

TRAVERSE CITY — Benjamin Marentette is poised to become Traverse City’s next city manager, a role he already holds on an interim basis.

City commissioners on Monday will vote on an employment agreement with Marentette that, if approved, would begin the next day. He agreed to step into the role in July shortly after former City Manager Liz Vogel left the job.
