The city of Greeley has begun searching for a new public works director following the departure of Paul Trombino on Dec. 1 after four years of service.

Trombino joined the city as public works director in 2021, following his time as director and Homeland Security advisor for the state of Iowa. During his tenure in Greeley, he was at the forefront of many city projects, such as the Greeley-Weld County Airport improvement project, the Mobility Expansion for Regional Growth and Equity program and his work with the Catalyst project, which will soon face a citywide vote relating to a zoning ordinance passed by council earlier this year.
