RENTON (AP) — Philip Rivers will reportedly take his first NFL snaps since 2020 on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Seattle (10-3) and its sixth-ranked overall defense prepared as if the eight-time Pro Bowler and 44-year-old grandfather could be under center for the reeling Indianapolis Colts. And with the Colts signing Rivers to the 53-man roster Saturday and multiple reports indicating he will start, it appears that preparation will pay off.
