Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin admitted he was 'so scared' for his partner Amber Davies as he called out fans for giving her 'so much hate'.

The Love Island star turned West End performer has been heavily criticised during her time in Strictly Come Dancing due to her previous dance experience.

The 29 year old, who is preparing to take the lead role in the Legally Blonde musical in February 2026, scored a perfect 40 during the live show with her Couple's Choice dance, but Nikita admitted he was scared for her over the abuse she has faced.

He got emotional as he was asked why Amber deserved a place in the Strictly Come Dancing final by host Claudia Winkleman. He said: "You have had so much hate every single day since the moment you joined.
