Stephen Curry made sure all eyes were on him Friday night. Before the Warriors even started their game against the Timberwolves, he got something that was just mind-blowing.
During warmups, Curry drilled a full-court shot that traveled nearly 100 feet . He launched it from the end of the Warriors’ exit tunnel and watched it drop clean through the rim. Fans inside Chase Center went crazy.
The shot came on the same night Curry returned from a left quad injury that had kept him out for five games. At 37, he showed he hasn’t lost his touch. He followed the warmup highlight with a strong performance in the game, even though Golden State lost 127–120.
