GEORGIA, USA — Some warming centers are opening up in metro Atlanta as cold air moves in causing freezing weather.
11Alive's Weather Team said temperatures on Sunday night will be in the teens and have issued a Weather Impact Alert through Tuesday morning.
Some shelters offering an escape from the cold are listed below:
Hampton
Individuals in Hampton can visit the 24/7 warming center listed below. This location will be open from Sunday, Dec. 14, at 6 p.m. until Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 12 p.m.
