The Cincinnati Zoo says that they will remain closed for the rest of the weekend.

This comes as four to eight inches of snow are expected to fall throughout the Tri-State on Saturday, with temperatures forecast to dip down into the single digits on Sunday. Advertisement

The zoo is expected to reopen Monday at 10 a.m.

The Cincinnati Zoo is currently in the midst of the 43rd year of its Festival of Lights event, which runs through Jan. 5. The event offers light displays consisting of millions of colored LEDs for guests to view throughout all corners of the zoo's gardens. These displays also include dozens of illuminated 3D art installations that depict many of the zoo's most well-known animals.
