Matt Campbell’s impact at Penn State is already paying dividends.
The Nittany Lions received a commitment from defensive back Bryson Williams, a three-star prospected from Westside High School in Nebraska.
Ryan Snyder of Blue-White Illustrated and On3 reported the news earlier on Saturday.
Lions247 also reported the news earlier on Saturday.
The 6-3, 180-pound Williams was originally an Iowa State commitment but decided to re-open his recruitment.
Campbell recently became PSU’s permanent head coach after spending the previous 10 seasons at ISU.
With Williams now in the fold, Penn State’s 2026 class now stands at three players.
Williams joins quarterback Peyton Falzone of Nazareth Area High School in the Lehigh Valley and edge rusher Jackson Ford of Malvern Prep in Pennsylvania.
