DALLAS — Two people died in an apparent murder-suicide in southern Dallas on Friday, according to Dallas police.

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said officers responded to a PD request by Fire call at approximately 12:35 p.m. Friday in the 7600 block of south Central Expressway. Officers were called after Dallas Fire-Rescue discovered two people with gunshot wounds had died, police said.

Police said its investigation determined that 30-year-old William Ramirez-Garcia shot a woman before dying from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot. The woman's name was not released by police, pending notification of next of kin.
