Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans believe they are on the cusp of challenging for a national title after landing the No. 1-ranked recruiting class for 2026, and they received more significant news on Saturday that could help them reach that goal.

Waymond Jordan is expected to return to USC next season to play for the team as one of their primary running backs.

Jordan was the best back in Junior College before transferring to USC for the 2025 season, having played at Hutchinson Community College, where he rushed for 1,614 yards on 218 carries and scored 20 touchdowns in his sophomore year.
