TRENTON, Maine (WABI) - A hallmark tradition during Christmastime is getting the family together and taking photos with the big man in red.
On Saturday at the SPCA of Hancock County, families with furry friends got the chance to meet Santa Claus and join in on the festive fun!
“We have a volunteer photographer who came in and is helping us out and it’s been fantastic,” explains SPCA of Hancock County’s Executive Director Mindy Wulf. “So, it is by donation, they can choose any amount. We did suggest $20 because that’s what our photographer would be charging us.”
Families brought in their pups and cats to pose with Santa. Alongside the free photos courtesy of MaryEllen Martel, elves helped to keep pets’ attention with plenty of treats, toys and catnip to get the perfect shot.
