A teenage boy was shot and two others people were stabbed in separate incidents of violence a couple of hours apart in the city.

But all three victims are expected to survive.

Toronto Police say the shooting occurred in Lawrence Heights – near Varna Dr. and Flemington Rd. – around 11 p.m. on Friday.

Responding officers located a 16-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds and he transported to hospital with “serious but non-life threatening condition,” police said on X .

No further details of the shooting were immediately available and no suspect description was released.

But the investigation is “ongoing,” police said.
