CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — The Champaign Fire Department is investigating after a two-story apartment building caught fire Saturday morning.
It happened just before 12:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Parkland Court.
The fire department said a first floor apartment was engulfed in flames when crews arrived. The building was vacant, according to the department.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Firefighters said nobody was hurt.
