NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio --
Weapons offense: Country Club Boulevard
Officers responded at 11:22 p.m. on Nov. 29 to an apartment on Country Club Boulevard regarding an accidental weapon discharge.
An apartment resident told officers that he was cleaning his 9mm handgun when it accidentally fired off a shot. The bullet went through a wall into a neighboring apartment. The neighboring apartment was occupied, but no one was injured.
The bullet then put a hole in a window and traveled outside. However, officers could not find any damage outside the apartment building or in the parking lots of nearby stores.
The handgun owner was charged with a misdemeanor count of improperly discharging a firearm.
