A seemingly scatterbrained flock of geese passing over our house in Sylvania on Sunday while we were putting out our Christmas lights left me scratching my head.
Were these geese that were from way up north in Canada that had lost their way?
While looking for possible answers across the internet I stumbled across a Lapeer News post from November with people saying the same of observing apparent disoriented geese bouncing around. It really could be they are just looking for a place to rest and/or food while on their travels.
In other instances it could be a young group of birds trying to learn the migration route, others said.
