ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Two people were hurt after a car crashed into the side of a DeKalb County home overnight, police said.
Offices were called to Parkwood Trace, a residential street in unincorporated Stone Mountain, at around 9:30 p.m. on Friday. The car’s driver and passenger were both taken to the hospital, the driver with serious injuries.
Police believe the car was driving on Cavan Drive, a dead-end road, when it went down a steep slope, tearing through the woodline and crashing into the house through the backyard. Nobody inside the home was hurt.
Officers aren’t sure what led to the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
