A teenager from Pennsylvania was found shot to death Friday inside an apartment in Jersey City, authorities said.

Al-Jahmir Curry, 16, was found about 5:10 p.m. with a gunshot wound inside the home on Rose Avenue, according to Acting Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello.

Curry, who was shot in the upper body, was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m.

An autopsy is pending, Mello said in a statement.

“The circumstances regarding the shooting are actively being investigated,” Mello said, adding that no arrests have been made.
