SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - People in Siouxland took a moment to remember the lives of fallen service members and leave behind a holiday blessing during a wreath laying ceremony Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Sgt. Floyd Memorial in Sioux City.
The Sioux City Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center hosted the event, along with the Sgt. Floyd Honor Guard.
The ceremony was in collaboration with National Wreaths Across America Day, a day set aside to lay wreaths at the places where we remember, honor, and teach about veterans.
