A fatal quadcopter drone crash claimed the lives of three children in a residential area of northwest Pakistan over the weekend, police have confirmed.

The unfortunate incident unfolded in Bannu district's Mumand Khel area, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, when the drone unexpectedly crashed into the neighborhood late Saturday. Immediate rescue operations were launched by locals, who managed to transport the injured and deceased children to a nearby medical facility.
