A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged in two Jacksonville murders on consecutive days in November, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

On Nov. 15, police responded to reports of a dead man along the side of East 15th Street near Phoenix Avenue. He was identified as Maurice Solomon, 27.

The next day, someone notified police of a dead woman under a bridge along Blanding Boulevard, identified as Tiffany Felton, 35.

Detectives identified Curtis Asberry as the suspect in both cases and arrested him on Nov. 17 on unrelated charges.

On Friday, he was charged with Solomon’s and Felton’s murders, JSO said.
