Pryce Sandfort scored a career-high 32 points, 26 of which came from the first half.

Reink Mast tallied 17 points, and Jamarques Lawrence notched 14 points, three of which came from a last-second effort to claim the Husker victory.

The Huskers were up 11-4 before the first media timeout, and they kept the advantage until Illinois went on a 13-0 run to tie things up at 37 apiece, which sent things into the locker rooms.
