We're working to learn more about a deadly pedestrian-involved crash on Rossville Boulevard Saturday night.

Chattanooga police tell our crews on scene that a person riding an electric wheelchair in the road was fatally injured in what's being investigated as a hit-and-run crash.

Officers responded to the scene just after 6:00pm, and they are now following up on leads about the vehicle that fled.

Two lanes are closed on scene, and traffic is being routed around the site of the crash.
