Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse University announced a crowd of 13,282 for a Saturday afternoon matchup against Hofstra at the JMA Wireless Dome.
The figure represents tickets sold for the event.
The Orange lost to the Pride 70-69 as a final rally fell short.
With time running out, Syracuse freshman Kiyan Anthony drove to the basket for a potential game-winning bucket. Anthony looked like he was hacked by Hofstra’s Biggie Patterson, but he didn’t get the call.
Anthony’s futile drive might have capped a Syracuse rally from a 10-point deficit in the game’s final minutes.
Syracuse has averaged 17,012 tickets sold through the first six home games in the 2025-26 season, a mark that currently ranks sixth in the country.
The Orange will be back at the JMA Dome on Wednesday night to face Mercyhu
