EASTERN CAROLINA (WITN) - Tarboro won it all in the 2A state championships against Murphy, defeating them 22-0.

Tarboro’s Kamerin McDowell-Moore had three 2nd half touchdowns and was named the MVP.

Tarboro has been to 9-straight state championship games and has now won two in a row.

In a defeating loss in the 3A final, Kinston finished out 84-41 to Shelby.

That’s Kinston’s 3rd state title appearance, but they have yet to pull out a win.
