CHAPEL HILL — Caleb Wilson says he’s been “dealing with a foot injury,” but UNC basketball’s star freshman doesn’t seem too concerned.
Following the Tar Heels’ 80-62 win against USC Upstate at the Smith Center on Dec. 13, Wilson told media members that he had issues throughout the week leading up to the game.
“I play through whatever I feel as long as it’s not gonna really mess me up,” Wilson said. “But I’m good now, so just gotta play through injury.”
The 6-foot-10 forward didn’t elaborate on which foot or what led to the injury, but it didn’t seem to bother him as he finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds for his seventh double-double through 10 games.
