In the latest incident, a security official with the England team has been accused of an unsavoury exchange with a local journalist at the Adelaide airport after the team arrived in the city.

According to Sunday Mail journalist Darren Chaitman, the confrontation began when he approached England captain Ben Stokes and asked whether he planned to do any ‘sightseeing’ in Adelaide, an apparent taunt about English fans’ criticism of their team. Footage recorded by Chaitman showed Stokes objecting to being filmed, asking, “Have you just been recording me for that whole time?"
