Prince Harry directly requested that his security arrangements in the UK be reviewed, it has been revealed. The 41-year-old, who previously lost a high-profile legal claim in regards to his security in the UK , reportedly wrote to the Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, to request a full security risk assessment.

The royal is understood to have been told that the royal and VIP Executive Committee [Ravec] will ask its risk management board [RMB] to reassess his threat level. It will be the first time that this has been carried out since 2020, the same year that Harry stepped down as a working royal and moved to the US.

Harry previously said that he felt it was unsafe for Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, to visit his home country.
