The Warriors were locked in a back-and-forth affair on Saturday.
But with the game tied at 34-34 with five minutes to go in the third quarter, the Warriors’ depth helped them run away to a double-digit win.
Wahconah boys basketball used a late scoring burst to beat Frontier, 67-52 on Saturday afternoon, improving to 2-0 on the season. Frontier drops to 1-1.
Wahconah had five different scorers in double-digits, and Jack DuCharme led with 15 points. Ducharme had 16 in his last game against Lee on Thursday.
Jack Wasuk supported him with 14 points, while Cooper Calvert and Sam McLaughlin added 12 points each.
Frontier also put up a solid effort, as Max Millette had a game-high 22 points.
The Warriors will look to avenge last year’s losses against Taconic on Monday at 7 p.m.
