TOLEDO, Ohio — Showers have finally arrived to northwest Ohio bringing beneficial rain. A wind advisory is in effect for counties along and east of I-75 through noon today. Winds may gust up to 50 mph.

The WTOL 11 Weather team recommends securing or bringing inside any Halloween decorations that may blow away in the wind.

The heaviest rain will move east of I-75 by late morning, though frequent lighter showers will persist all day before moving out around sunset. Temperatures will also be falling as the cold front continues to march through the area.

Monday turns dry with noticeably cooler temperatures.

Another cold front will move through Tuesday that could bring an isolated sprinkle chance both Tuesday and Wednesday.
