News 40 Weather | Feeling More Like February

MUCH COLDER DAYS AHEAD As we head into the busiest travel day of the year, much of the country will be dry except for the Great Lakes where snow will stick around even past Thanksgiving weekend. Here in Southern Kentucky, temperatures are trending colder as highs will struggle to even reach into the 40’s. Even colder will be overnight lows diving well below freezing into the 20’s. RAIN RETURNS…(MAYBE WITH A WINTRY MIX)? While colder air will be in charge for the holiday weekend, it will be dry enough so that any wintry precipitation is not a worry (at least around here).
