MAINE, USA — Cloudier and cooler today with high temps closer to 60 and a breeze.

Showers arrive in southern Maine Sunday night, and rain will continue into Monday. Drier and cloudy conditions are expected from Lewiston to Bangor north. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s. Breezy NE winds and large waves will continue along the coast, prompting a High Surf Advisory.

Other than a lingering shower early in the morning, Tuesday will be dry with highs around 60.

A cold front moves through on Wednesday. Shower activity will be minimal, but leading to breezy NW winds around 30 mph. It will be partly sunny, near 60 degrees. Thursday will be the coolest day this week in the low to mid 50s and a strong north wind up to 40 mph. A shower is possible, but most will stay dry.
