NEW YORK (WABC) -- Severe Thunderstorm and Flash Flood warnings have been issued for Dutchess County in New York, as storms move through parts of the Tri-State Friday evening.

Storms have also prompted ground stops and delays at Newark, JFK and LaGuardia airports.

Look for rounds of thundershowers late Saturday morning into the afternoon before skies begin to clear out in the evening.

Expect a drier, comfortable Sunday before the thunder threat returns next week.
