BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WBNG) - National Women’s Health Week is being celebrated nationwide.

According to the New York State Department of Health, this is a time for women to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being and take advantage of resources that support health at every stage of life.

Doctor Tatiana Fedorova of Guthrie Lourdes Hospital tells 12 News that personal concern over well-being is at an all-time high.

“I think a lot of people, just with everything going on in the world and with increased anxiety and fatigue over a lot of these symptoms they might feel are very generalized, and it’s really hard to know if it’s the thyroid or something else going on,” Fedorova told 12 News.
