LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Although we do not want a rainy holiday weekend, some much needed moisture continues to be likely through Monday evening.
Taking a look at skycast, though it will not be a washout, there will be periods of rain some lengthy. Best chances over all in Lincoln will be Saturday evening into Sunday morning and throughout the day Monday.
How much rain could we see over the next three days? As little as 0.10″ of an inch to the northeast to perhaps 2.00″ to the northwest. As the drought continues, we hope that this can alleviate some of those conditions.
We were able to climb into the 70s Saturday, but we fall back into the 50s and 60s overall Sunday.
Most of the state will struggle to hit 60 on Monday making it feel more like late March than late May.
